Get Yourself in Alignment

Fascia Manipulation KMI

Welcome to Portland KMI, the professional bodywork and movement therapy practice of Conor Beliveau, located at the quiet edge of Portland's West End at 17 South St, 2nd floor.

KMI is Kinesis Myofascial Integration, a form of Structural Integration (SI) bodywork. KMI is a hands on manual therapy technique, it is deep and sensitive bodywork designed to unwind the strain patterns residing in your body, restoring it to its natural balance, alignment, length, and ease. Common strain patterns come about from inefficient movement habits, and our body’s response to a sedentary lifestyle and its poorly designed cars, desks, telephones, airplanes, etc. Individual strain patterns come from imitation when we are young, from the invasions of injury or surgery or birth, and from our body’s response to traumatic episodes. KMI sessions can release long held restrictions in your body and allow for easier and more efficient movement.

KMI sessions are useful for people from all walks of life and all varieties of physical condition and will meet you right where you are. I have helped many people find an easier way to be in their bodies free from chronic pain and tension. If you think KMI could be useful for you, please contact me to schedule a free initial consultation.

"As a climber for over 37 years, I can vouch for the debilitating toll that unchecked overuse can have on our bodies. Hanging by our fingers tends to have that effect. Speaking from experience, I wholeheartedly endorse Conor Beliveau as a Structural Integration practitioner. As a climber himself, Conor understands the unique demands we place on our bodies, and as a trained practitioner, he has the skills and knowledge to help anyone — even a creaking old veteran like myself — get things back in order." ˜ Jeff Butterfield, author of Acadia, A Climbers Guide
